Q: What type of companies do you work with?

A:  We mainly work with companies that have prodcuts or services that can be both marketed and sold online. We sometimes also work with companies that provide services that cannot be sold online, but whose businesses can be marketed online - even where they only service a specific local geographic market - in these situations we are generating a new source of leads for the business.
Q: What is in it for me?

 


A:  A very important question!  You get to have your product(s) or service(s) marketed and sold for you online with no upfront risk to you.  This way you do not have to invest endless hours (or more likely weeks) of time trying to figure everything out for the first time, at the same time as continuing to run your business and live your life.  You do not have to research how to get all of the various things done and then pay for whatever products and services you initially believe will get you to where you want to be.  Many people misjudge the complexities of what is involved in this area - they jump right in, get out of their depth, and then finally give up once they are disappointed, exhausted and much money has been spent.

 

 

Not only do you get to successfully launch your products and services online, but you also get to grow the overall sales of your business ...and isn't that what it is really all about?  Now, you may not have a distribution channel in your business right now, but you would probably benefit from this - by this we mean businesses that order your products at a wholesale price (that is still profitable to you, but less so because you have not had to create the demand).  They order your products at wholesale in order to sell to their customers at an appropriate retail price (and hence they make a profit), after all they have done the work of creating the customer demand.  This does not just happen with products, but it also happens with many services.

Q: What is in it for you?

A:  An understandable question. We develop the online demand for your products and services and sell them online for the profit between the retail price that the customer pays and the wholesale that we have arranged with your business.  We then build long term and loyal customers through our ongoing communications with these customers.  This leads to referrals and repeat business.
Q: What quantities will you order from us and where will you store the products?

A: We are an online marketing and commerce business.  We do not have physical warehousing space and inventories.  We generate the demand, enable and process the transactions and then you fulfill the orders and bill us the agreed upon wholesale price for the products along with the shipping fees agreed.  This gives you control over product quality and production planning and all aspects of your manufacturing processes or service fulfillment.  So the order volume will ramp up as the online marketing takes effect, giving you some ability to plan your capacity and focus on managing the growth of your business.
Q: Are there certain countries that you prefer to keep to?

A: Yes.  At this point we focus mainly on marketing and demand generation in the North American (USA and Canada) and the UK markets.  We plan to add Australia and New Zealand soon.  As other online consumer markets grow and mature then we will also add those - one of the key factors determining the speed of this expansion into new markets is the maturity of the consumer credit card market for transactions in those countries and how good the fraud prevention and merchant protection systems are in those other countries.  Many countries still do not offer good legal protections against credit card fraud or even reliable customer address verification capabilities.
Q: How long will it take to get the increased sales results that we want?

 


A:  Naturally this depends on many factors.  Things that speed up the process of launching the web site are:

A quick turn around (on your part) of the underlying agreement.

Having a consistency with your existing brand(s) and message(s).

Web ready pictures and descriptions of the products or services being marketed and sold and other brand/logo files.

Limited number of initial products and services - these should be the most popular ones to start with (obviously a large catalog takes a much longer time to put online that a smaller, more focused offering).

 

 

Once launched, the process of tuning the site to attract traffic can take several months.  Only then, once sufficient traffic of the appropriate type has been attracted can the site be fine tuned to optimize the converstion ratio (number of visitors that make a purchase).
